February 5 - House to share near Race Track: Professional woman homeowner seeks woman to share house with. You will have your own entrance, use of a large yard, plenty of off-street parking as well as space in a covered garage (for parking or studio activities). The house is located within walking distance to Bayou St. John and City Park, and within bicycling distance to the French Quarter and Frenchmen Street. Inside the house, you will have a large living room with non-functioning fireplace, a bedroom with built-in closets and dresser, a large bathroom with bathtub. We will share a kitchen with granite countertops, dishwasher and all new appliances. The entire house was recently renovated. There are ceiling fans as well as central AC/heat. We also share a laundry room behind the kitchen, with a new dryer and an older but dependable washing machine. There is a large, fenced yard to enjoy. I am well-traveled, educated, speak several languages, enjoy dancing and cooking international foods. 5 minutes to University of New Orleans. $600/month plus ½ of utilities. I'm the daughter of RPCVs and I'm looking for a housemate to share a beautiful 2 br, 2.5 bath upstairs apartment with hardwood floors and high ceilings in the Treme neighborhood (near Rampart and Esplanade). Avail. Jan. 1 or Feb. 1-- your rent: $750 + utilities. Your portion has a private bath, with a clawfoot tub, a walkin closet and fantastic windows. My half has the same, plus an attractive puppy/dog. We have washer/dryer, a dishwasher, and a thousand windows in the living room, one of which doubles as a door to the balcony. Our cross-street neighbor is st. augustine 's catholic church. The location is great for second line parades and access to the French Quarter. Close to shops, restaurants, and coffee houses.
